Media Center

Burrton Public Schools houses a media center at the elementary level and another in the senior high wing. The following information will enable you to participate as a team player in bringing the most recent and up-to-date research and reading materials to your student(s).

Current funding concerns could mean that valuable materials never make it into the media centers, impacting every student's education. But there are a variety of ways you can help! Below are five programs in which you can participate to help us bring in resources to the media centers.

Box tops for Education
Tyson A+ certificates
Labels for Education (Campbell's, etc)
Computer printer ink cartridges
Pull tabs for Ronald McDonald House at children's hospitals

The elementary library holds 10,887 titles.

We hold two book fairs a year, which provides parents and patrons the opportunity to come in, help their students find fun and interesting books to read, and help the library acquire new titles in the process.
